A benevolent nature comes to life through a parrot lovingly protecting its chick. A mechanism to open the wing – integrated into the piece – reveals the little bird snuggled against its mother, in a delicate harmony of pink sapphires, coral and diamonds. Carved in a single branch of pink coral, the parrot’s head adds an expressive, three-dimensional touch to this tender scene.
